EAT - CADBURY BYTES

Cadbury Bytes was launched in 2004-05 as Cadbury's foray into the rapidly growing packaged snack market.

Cadbury Bytes is a one of a kind snack, in that it is sweet and not salty, as compared to most of the other snacks. It's a bite sized snack with a crunchy wafer and rich Choco cream filling. There are three variants of Bytes available in the market.

Cadbury Bytes is targeted at teens as they are the largest consuming segment of packaged snack category. They are also the gateway to the family, especially for a new sweet snack.

With Bytes, Cadbury has entered into a new category with well entrenched and established brands. It is an exciting challenge for them to take the brand forward and make it a stupendous success.

Cadbury Bytes is positioned as the 'only sweet snack' in the world of salty snacks. The proposition that they have arrived at where they take a pot-shot at other snacks. The product is all about breaking a cliché and teenagers identify with breaking stereotypes.

Crunchy outside and sweet inside.

The sweetness of chocolate can loss if you can't enjoy it and feel it. Realize it before too late. Miss her so much...her voice, her hug & her love...

EAT - YO SUSHI @ MIDVALLEY

Past a few days, I and my clicks went to Midvalley on conjunction of NINJA Premiere Screening. We had our dinner at Yo Sushi at Midvalley.

Yo! Sushi is Datuk Farah Khan’s latest venture into food following Dome and taking a break from her usual Fashion Boutiques with the Melium Group. It’s one of her favorite places to eat back in UK, so she started the franchise over here, the first branch is in Pavilion and the second is in Gardens, Mid Valley.

Wasabi, Ginger & Light Soya Sauce.

It’s a conveyor type concept, but with better quality food. Better quality food, but not at cut-throat prices. That’s the whole concept anyway, it’s aiming for the lifestyle crowd, not too expensive, but not cheap, high quality! A concept I agree with personally, I don’t mind paying slightly more for top quality.

With the cosy interior design of restaurant are nice, modern, light and clean. The food is prepared in the middle so you can see everything.

The Menu.

Chef in the action.

Price for the sushi followed by color of the plate. There are a variety of dish prices from RM2 (Green) to RM12 (Grey) – the majority are Orange (RM8) and Purple (RM6) for the good stuff.

Itakimidasu...

The range of Salmon Sashimi is great! They have normal plain, Sesame Seared and Dill-Wasabi Marinated….This is the Dill Salmon – Yummy!

Unagi. One of my favorite beside salmon.

Salmon Dragon Roll. Crabstick, avocado, mayonnaise, shichimi powder (Japanese chilli) and salmon topping

Eel. BBQ'd and glazed freshwater eel.

Salmon. Finely sliced salmon with wasabi

Tamago (V). Sweet omelette.

Seafood Rice. Spicy sushi rice with Asian vegetables, prawns, salmon and squid

Not really sure what is this by the way.

Asparagus (V). Blanched asparagus and Japanese mayonnaise

Why doraemon love it so much? Dorayaki is a Japanese pancake with custard filling and raspberry sauce

Make a fake smile face...

Thanks guy for accompany me...& sorry for I'm not in good mood...

Overall I will vote:

8/10 for the service. Friendly & Efficient.
8/10 for the food quality and quantity of the food excellent. A little bit expensive but worth.
7/10 for the environment. Just ordinary Japanese restaurant but there have a cosy interior design.

So, I had a Blackened Fish served with Spicy Orange Sauce Accompanied with Hoppin John and chef selected vegetable. The skin was crispy and the meat just well done.

As a dessert, I had Chocolate Basket served with a Vanilla Ice-Cream topped with Almond Nips. Just a scoop of vanilla ice cream that put on top of dry layer ice cream.

EAT - TOKYO BANANA @ MyC!

My Bos returned last week from a 2 week visit back to Canada. He brought his staff this "Tokyo Banana" as omiyage (gift or souvenir). Hey gave us this. It's a tasty packaged cake with a banana cream filling. It is something like a Banana Flavored Twinkie, twinkie-like spongecake (without a shelf life measured in the lifespan of the planet) with a piece of banana in the center. That is the Tokyo Banana. The cake is a simple yellow cake much like the normal Twinkie. The Tokyo Banana's banana filling is where the banana taste is present. It's a consistency of like a banana puree and tastes like it is real banana. I don't know if it is 100% banana puree of some sort, but it definitely isn't like a banana flavored cream in a Twinkie.

Here's another banana-related thing. There is a very popular souvenir snack in Tokyo called Tokyo Banana. People usually buy this souvenir for their family and friends when they visit Tokyo from small towns. If you're a tourist in Tokyo, you can try it but I will warn you and tell you that it tastes like a banana-flavored Twinkie. It's banana cream inside a sponge cake and tastes like chemical. Twinkies are one of the grossest food ideas that anyone has ever had, but if you actually enjoy the taste of Twinkies, you might like Tokyo Banana.

People called Tokyo Bananas, and the filling is slightly brownish... like an actual banana. I'm happy they didn't add a liter of yellow food coloring to offset this natural coloring.

Inside is banana cream and outside is sponge cake.

Rachel, Feeq & Jason...Rachel...you looks like biawak ^^

*I don't have any idea how he can buy it since it's from Japan.

EAT - TIRAMISU @ MyC!

Tiramisù is one of my favorite dessert and also the most popular Italian cakes. Tiramisù has become a very popular dessert. The recipe has been adapted into cakes, puddings, and other varieties of dessert.

Topped by coco powder. A little bit bitter. Normally if I made a tiramisu, I will change coco to milo powder as topping.

It is made of savoiardi (otherwise known as lady finger biscuits) dipped in espresso or strong coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks, mascarpone, and sugar, and topped with cocoa.

Eat Tiramisu while work? That's awesome ^^
